BIRDS ON A WIRE
ABOUT THE SERIES: The comic strip series Birds on a Wire was developed by Better Creative co-founders Kai RW and Abhilasha Dewan in summer 2014, and generally involves the curious exploits of three birds who keep trying to discuss climate and clean energy issues as they hang out on an old telephone wire, but are regularly distracted by their own silliness. The conversation is kept focused by their aloof pal Sky who drops in occasionally (but never for long) thanks to his zippy and unusual accessory: a small and smoky jet engine.
Sky is the most keen of the four on exploring the vast sky around them to find solutions to their changing climate, yet seems completely unaware of his own role in contributing to it. This paradox produces some unexpectedly funny outcomes. Sky went on to become the inspiration for an animated character by the same name in our game in-development, SkyShapers. There are currently two panels in the series, with more (hopefully) to follow.
Panel 1: introduces the main characters and problem of air pollution in a lighthearted way, with an unexpected ending. Who knew birds could be so cute?

Panel 2 goes into more detail on the benefits of climate action, with a rather humorous take on animals mobilizing for a march prior to the 2014 UN Climate Summit (a parody on the People's Climate March which took place in September, 2014, bringing over 400,000 people out onto the streets of New York)
