When it comes to design, we pride ourselves on being astute puzzlers: finding, collecting and crafting the right pieces for every project we work on. Good design communicates a story or message creatively and clearly. Competitive Green Technologies

Better Creative was hired to execute a comprehensive rebranding of leading Ontario-based biomaterials company Competitive Green Technologies, including a full website and logo redesign. WHO in Maldives

In collaboration with Daalcheeni, this was a design exercise to create covers for an information booklet put together by the World Health Organization celebrating Malaria Free Maldives and 50 years of WHO's work in the Maldives.

Point of View

This brochure was designed for the organization Point of View, based in Mumbai, Delhi working for the sexual empowerment of women in rural India

Badges

Started in 2009 while still in art school, Badges and Lines is an ongoing design series made by Better Creative co-founder Kai RW, as a playful means to explore text and messaging indefinitely within a variety of both fixed and unexpected new forms.

ABOUT THE PROCESS:  Most pieces have been hand drawn on archival paper first using an architectural drafting set, before being scanned and translated into digital form. A wide variety of colors and textures are then played with, to fill in the negative space of the design. Designs can be both playful and/or serious in tone, always bringing some message to life. Badges and Lines is an ongoing series with a wide variety of potential applications we are currently exploring to make these beautiful designs available to all.
