MEET THE TEAM

Kai and Abhi co-founded Better Creative in summer 2014 as a means of applying their creative skills to the greater good of our society and planet, and have been busy working ever since! The two are happily married and live together in Kitchener, Canada, though in past lives have also lived in India and Europe, with creative work spanning the globe. Kai Reimer-Watts is a visual artist and Creative Director at Better Creative. He is a graduate of the Masters of Climate Change (MCC) program at the University of Waterloo, and a current PhD student in Community Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Kai's work positions itself at the intersection of creative arts, culture, social science and activism, advocating for a more just and sustainable world in response to global climate change.

Abhilasha Dewan is an animation artist and designer with roots in her home-country of India and the majority of her training and experience in Ontario, Canada, where she studied animation at Sheridan College. She is a current animator full-time at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) in Waterloo, Canada.

Inspired by inventive design as a universal language for sharing stories, Abhi's passion is to experiment with various media and platforms through short films, comics, game design, web & print design.
